"HIDDEN CANYON"

If you walk to the "stern" of the mesa described above and to the north you will come to a dropoff from where you look into a spectacular canyon, full of colorful rocky buttes and side canyons. I call this canyon "Hidden Canyon " because it is a bit difficult to get into. But it is well worth the trouble. Go to the corner between the mountain ridge to the west (Cedar Mountain) and the mesa where a power line spans the dropoff and follow the dirt track down. Turn right and follow the slickrock into the canyon. You will have a ball in there, exploring all the nooks and crannies of this neat place.
